1. Do you bring your own products to an appointment?

We have found that different women have different needs; some keep their favourite products well-stocked on hand while others are more open to recommendations.  Let us know if you'd like to try something new and we'll bring a sample.   Although we can't testify to the results of products outside of our personal use, the choice remains with you.


2. Do I need special equipment or supplies?

Convenience is our mantra!  Outside of your own towel, we will bring the appropriate equipment to take you from looking good to looking great!  We sterilize all our tools in alcohol for every client to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.   SuzyMari arrives armed and ready!


3. How long does each service take?

We can provide a better time line once we consider your hair's length, texture and condition, in addition to any weave or braid services you prefer.  Call us about the look you've been dreaming about.  We'll invest the time to create a style perfect for you!



4. Which areas to you serve?

SuzyMari serves the GTA and surrounding areas, bordered by Ajax in the East, Barrie in the North, Hamilton in the West and Lakeshore Road in the South.  We also consider special requests for surrounding cities at an additional mileage fee; contact us today for more information.


5. What experience and training do you have?

Suzette Dallas has been trained in hairdressing and hair care in Montreal, Quebec.  In addition, she has broadened her knowledge by investing in instructional media, attending trade shows and providing hair care services to a wide range of clients for over 15 years. Her natural talent inspires her to continually update her skills and adapt to the needs of each client.


6. How far in advance should I make an appointment?

Have a special occasion coming up?  Ready for a full head of weave or microbraids?  Book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment!

For routine services like wash & set, relaxer or treatments, our clients find it convenient to book many appointments simultaneously at regular intervals, then planning their remaining activities around them. Knowing that every other Thursday (for example) is your "hair" day reduces your stress and gives you something to look forward to! 

Depending on the service you require, the last appointment is typically booked at 6 pm, but we may consider making accommodations depending on your location and style.  Call us directly to discuss your schedule.


7. Do you provide other services not listed on your website?

We are currently researching various bonding, color and cutting methods to add to our services.  Sign up on our promotions page to find out instantly about our new services.


8. Why should I give up my current hair stylist?

Keep your stylist!  We certainly like clients who are loyal to us!

We're simply giving you a convenient alternative to choose from.  Women of today need options to keep up with the demands of a hectic lifestyle.  Our service allows you to easily try the at-home experience for a special event, when your stylist is booked, or when you just don't have the time to travel ... the level of commitment is up to you.  

But once you try SuzyMari, we can't be held responsible if traditional salons start to turn you off; you may become addicted!


9. Why don't you have a salon?

After experiencing the salon environment from both sides of "the chair", we find one-on-one hair care at the location of your choice provides you with the best possible service and attention.  When you book an appointment, that time block is dedicated to you; you won't have someone else waiting nearby and can escape the noise and distractions of a bricks-and-mortar salon. 

If you're ready for a high level of service, you'll find that it's the stylist that matters - not the location! 



10. What is your policy if I'm unhappy with the weave/extension you've brought?

We have worked with a wide range of weaves and extensions.  Based on our experience, we recommend products with the best quality, best texture, easiest care and the most longevity for your desired style.  However, if the weave we provide isn't to your liking, we normally come prepared with at least one other style to choose from.


11. If I have a style in mind will you be able to reproduce it?

Any photos you provide will definitely help us visualize what you want to achieve; feel free to email us a photo of your preferred hairstyle.  We encourage clients to adapt their favorite styles to the length and texture of their own hair, or invest in a weave or extensions to more closely capture the look. Either way, the style will be uniquely yours!


12. Do you have any special rates for weddings and group services?

We certainly do!  Styling for weddings and special events is one of our specialties; we love creating unique looks that work together.  Call us when you're ready for your customized consultation.


13. Do you remove weaves as well?

Of course!  Advise us when you book your appointment so we can adjust your time and price accordingly.



14. What if I'm unhappy with the hairstyle or service?

Being happy with your style is why we're in business - we'll make every effort to get your look just right. Upon completion of your service, take the opportunity to view your style from all angles to allow adjustments to your hair if necessary.  Should braids, weaves or extensions become loose from normal wear within 5 days, we will re-secure your hair free of charge. However, as daily wear, physical activities, weather conditions and hair types affect your style's longevity, we will ensure your satisfaction prior to our departure.
